Nothing much happening on the road to Tallahassee. Except hills.
We are about 89% done with the Southern Tier route. We are now in McDonalds in Tallahassee because it’s pouring & they have Wifi. The newer ones like this even have plugs. Here is the view from the window. I think he wanted in out of the rain.
On days like this, there is not much for me to do. So I started collecting travel quotes that I will share with the reader. Good food for thought and inspiration.
“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”
“Books are the plane, and the train, and the road. They are the destination, and the journey. They are home.”
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
― Lao Tzu
“I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.”
― Robert Louis Stevenson, Travels with a Donkey in the Cevennes

“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”
“A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.”
― Lao Tzu
Looks like a plague of frogs in Tallahassee. Nothing to do but look up quotes about travel? I did like some of them, especially Quindlen and the second Lao Tzu. Which one describes you best?
Lao Tzu got it right.
The frog is funny. Did you hear before you left that they sold Lejnar? I still want to hike there.
